A new inquiry lands.
It could be the best client of your year. It could be nothing. Either way, it can't wait.
For owner-led teams whose best people are buried in busywork.
We find where your operation wastes time, then fix it with systems you own and automations we run. You keep the systems for good. We keep them firing.
How it actually works
Most people think "using AI" means opening ChatGPT and copy-pasting. That's not it. Real automation means the work is already done before you sit down. One real example:
A new client books an appointment.
They instantly get a confirmation, a calendar invite, and an intake form.
A reminder goes out the day before, on its own.
After the session, a follow-up and a review request send themselves.
You did none of it. You showed up and did your work.
Now multiply that across every repeating task in your week.
That's the time we hand back to you.
What it actually costs
It's not that you're inefficient. Every new client brings a stack of follow-ups, invoices, and status updates. The better business gets, the more time disappears into work nobody sees, and nobody pays for.
The pipeline's full. The inbox is full. Everyone says "just hire someone," which means weeks of recruiting, months of training, and a salary you're not sure the business can carry yet. So you don't. And the bottleneck stays exactly where it was: in your hours.
If the AI needs you to copy and paste, it's just a fancy search bar. Real AI is invisible. Already done by the time you sit down. You don't open it. You don't prompt it. It just runs.
A Tuesday morning
It could be the best client of your year. It could be nothing. Either way, it can't wait.
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out! I have two slots that could work for you next week: Tuesday at 2 PM, or Thursday at 10 AM
Personal. Thoughtful. The kind of thing you can't really template, but you also can't really afford to write fifteen of them today.
Find the slot, type the details, send the invite, check it landed. Three apps. Twenty minutes in.
Pull the link. Write a quick note. Hope they actually fill it out before Thursday.
Status flips from "Inquiry" to "Confirmed." Reminder set for Wednesday. Now where were we?
For one client.
Now multiply by every inquiry this week.
What if none of this needed you?
See what we build insteadWhat we do
Most agencies rent you a system and keep the keys. We do the opposite. We go inside the business, find where the hours leak, and fix the operation itself: some of it automated, the rest handed over as better systems you own for good.
We map the repeating work in your business, kill the time waste, and rebuild how the work actually gets done: unified templates, documented processes, and custom systems and dashboards. Built inside the tools you already use, so there's no migration and nothing new for your team to learn. Then we hand all of it over. You own it for good, no retainer required for this part.
Book a free callThe automations we build need a home and a caretaker. We host them, monitor them, and fix them the moment something breaks, usually before you notice. Every quarter we re-audit the operation to find the next leak as you grow. You own the systems. You pay us to keep the machine running.
How it works
Zero surprises. You approve at every step. You own the build. We keep it running.
It starts with a free call. If we're a fit, we run a full Time Audit: we map every workflow eating your week, rank them by hours lost, and hand back a concrete plan of what we'll automate and what we'll hand you as a better system. You keep the plan either way.
We rebuild the workflow, unify the templates, document the processes, and build the systems and dashboards, inside the tools you already use. No migration. No "phase 2" surprise invoice. Then we hand all of it over. You own it for good.
Your systems go live. We host and maintain every automation, fix exceptions before you ever see them, and re-audit each quarter to keep finding you time as the business grows.
No commitment until you've seen the plan.

Enrollment, attendance, monthly fees, certificates and the accountant. All of it lived in a single Gmail account, a stack of paper, and the memory of the two people holding it together. We rebuilt the operation underneath them.
The accountant reports payments by email and the system files them. Absent students get asked what happened. Nobody on staff opens the database. That was the point.
handed back to the two people holding the school together.
A full working day. Every week. It used to go on retyping attendance off a phone photo, chasing fees one message at a time, and rebuilding the same lists somebody already made last month. Now nobody has to remember to save it.
The work still gets done. The weekend still gets recorded, the fees still get chased, the certificates still go out. It just stopped being anybody's Sunday evening.
We're taking on a small number of founding clients while we build out our public case studies. Being early is the advantage: you get our full attention, a direct line to the two people actually building it, founding pricing, and a system shaped around your business, not a template. The trade-off is honest: you're early, so we over-deliver to earn the case study.
Become a founding clientThe guarantee
If we build an automation and it doesn't save you the time we agreed on, we keep working on it until it does, at no extra cost. You're never stuck paying for something that isn't pulling its weight. And you'll always see the full plan, the scope, and the price before any work starts. No surprise invoices, ever.
Diana & Marcel, Nonstrain
The two of us
Nonstrain is the two of us, and it stays that way on purpose. The people who map your operation are the people who build it, on every call, from the first audit to the handover.
Diana co-owns Nonstrain and finds the time. Her specialty is the invisible work, the tasks that never appear in a process doc but quietly eat half the week. She maps how work actually moves through a business, then decides what gets automated and what simply needs a better system. If your team is “just busy” but always behind, Diana finds the why.
diana.pinto@nonstrain.com
Marcel co-owns Nonstrain and builds the systems. He takes the version of your workflow that lives in someone’s head, or in a spreadsheet nobody trusts, and turns it into automations and dashboards that run without anyone watching them. He owns the technical half: the integrations, the builds, and the parts that still have to work at 2am.
marcel.marti@nonstrain.comHow this started
Nonstrain began with a training school in Porto. It ran on disconnected spreadsheets nobody maintained, and the admin was slowly swallowing people who should have been teaching. We rebuilt the operation from the intake form up.
That build taught us the pattern we now look for everywhere. The problem was never the team, and it was never the tools. It was the handoffs in between: the work that belonged to nobody, so it landed on whoever noticed it last. Fix those, and a small team stops drowning.
We started Nonstrain to do that for other companies, and we kept it to the two of us so the people who find the problem are the people who fix it.
The free call
15 minutes. That’s all it takes to see where your week is going, and what we’d fix first. No prep, no pitch.
Worst case, you walk away knowing exactly where your week is going. Best case, we build the fix for you, and you own it.
Book a free callThe time leak calculator
Tick what repeats every week. The hours are a starting estimate, so change them until they match your reality. The number is yours. No email required to see it.
What repeats in your week?
Now the useful part
Describe that one process and we record you a short walkthrough of exactly how we would automate it, what it would take, and what it would cost. Back within two working days. Free, and yours to keep whether you hire us or not. If automating it is the wrong answer, we will tell you that instead.
Takes about a minute. We carry your numbers over so you do not retype them.
The honest questions
No. The transformation we build is yours to keep, for good. The only thing you stay on for is the retainer that hosts and maintains the automations, and you can see exactly what that covers. No lock-in on the systems themselves.
No. If you can use email, you can work with us. We handle every technical part.
No. It replaces the boring, repetitive tasks your team hates, so they can spend their time on the work that actually matters.
Not necessarily. If you already work with programs or have your current workflow already digitalized, there is a high likelihood that you can stay with the programs. In case you don't, we will be there to explain everything to you and help you along the way.
If an automation doesn't save you the time we agreed on, we keep working until it does, at no extra cost. See "Our promise" above.
The first call is free. After that, you get a clear, fixed scope and price before any work starts. No surprise invoices, ever.
There are two parts. The one-time build is yours to keep for good, priced against what a full-time operations hire would cost you, not against "a few automations." A typical first build lands between $4,000 and $15,000, depending on how many workflows we rebuild and the size of your business. The automations we host then run on a separate monthly retainer. We’ll show you the exact numbers on the call, before you commit to anything.
Because you get the people actually building your systems. Not an account manager, not a ticket queue, not an offshore handoff. Right now we work with a small number of clients on purpose, so each one gets real attention.
